Make a screen recording using the Snipping Tool

Sometimes a video/screen capture is worth a thousand words. With the Windows 11 “Snipping Tool” it’s easy!

Start the “Snipping Tool” from the start menu and change the mode to record (the video camera), or immediately jump to record with Win + Shift + R, then:

Select the area you want to record
Enable the mic if desired
Click “Start”
Wait for the countdown
Make your recording
Click “Stop”
