I find it interesting how we’ve made “labeling” into a negative. At least it feels that way to me. But labels are one of the most convenient and flexible ways of categorizing things (including people) that there is.
Just a few labels you can feel free to apply to me: developer, realtor, father, athlete, introvert, extrovert, kind, jerk
…and I’m sure there are plenty of others (even negative or conflicting ones like some of the above) you could apply to me. Season for taste… your taste.
Either way, if I “label” you, it’s not a negative. Maybe you could consider the fact that I find you important enough to even take the time to “label”.
Now, if I pigeonhole you then you might care, but by that point it probably doesn’t to you.
